Rumor: Activision is Withholding Infinity Ward’s Modern Warfare 2 Royalties
Recently, the studio heads of the developing giant Infinity Ward (Jason West and Vince Zampella) were fired for insubordination, and breach of contract. The duo soon thereafter sued Activision for the rights to their smash hit Modern Warfare 2, as well as royalties never received for the monumental success. It seemed like a matter of time before the rest of Infinity Ward would leave and set off on a new business venture with their old bosses. However, nobody has left, and a new rumor that has surfaced could shed some light on the reason why.
